In-Office Face & Neck Lifts
Life feels different after experiencing 5+ months of social distancing and daily quarantining. It is so much more complicated just planning a simple shopping trip, much less a visit with friends and loved ones. It’s no wonder why the value of our own time is so apparent right now. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact our lives, finding ways to put time back into our schedules becomes crucial.
F.A.C.E. of Beverly Hills would like to remind our patients that we offer in-office mini facelifts and necklifts under local anesthesia to eligible patients in our Beverly Hills cosmetic surgery office. Looking your best with a cosmetic lift doesn’t have to require invasive surgery, pain, or downtime. An in-office lift might be just what you need to look your best while taking as little time out of your day as possible. Read on to learn more!
What Is a Mini Facelift?
A conventional facelift can be quite invasive, involving the removing of fat and tightening of various muscles in the face. A mini facelift primarily approaches a specific area of the face through shorter incisions. These incisions are typically made along the hairline above each ear or in the naturally occurring creases surrounding each ear. The procedure then involves repositioning sagging facial structures and attaching them to the cheekbones. Simple procedures may be performed in-office under local anesthesia. To learn more about the benefits of a mini facelift, view this article.
A mini facelift is the perfect option for treating mild to moderate skin laxity and other typical signs of aging without the usual downtime of a conventional facelift. A mini facelift only requires 7-10 days of downtime following in-office procedure versus 4-5 weeks for a typical facelift. You can even drive yourself home following the procedure, and the procedure may be completed in as little as an hour.
In some cases, a simple necklift procedure can greatly enhance the results from your mini facelift procedure and may also be performed under local anesthesia in-office. The mini facelift and necklift procedures can both be performed at the same time during your in-office procedure. While the combination in-office mini facelift and necklift procedure is perfect for common mild to moderate signs of aging, more severe cases may require a more advanced surgery.
As mentioned previously, mild to moderate cases only are best for in-office procedures under local anesthesia. Age and health status is also considered.
