The Beverly Hills Restylane Kysse
Hyaluronic acid is popular in facial plastic and cosmetic surgery for many unique applications. While it is commonly used as an injectable filler, it may even be used to perform a nonsurgical rhinoplasty. Due to its strong effectiveness, and applicability in minimally invasive, nonsurgical cosmetic procedures, patients can’t seem to get enough of it. Hyaluronic acid is even a frequent ingredient in acne treatment products due to its ability to draw moisture into the skin.
HA fillers, or fillers containing hyaluronic acid, are available by request at F.A.C.E. of Beverly Hills by Dr. McCoy Moretz. If you’re looking for HA fillers in Beverly Hills for treating the lips, Restylane Kysse is our latest and greatest offering. Restylane Kysse can add fullness and definition to your lips without surgery. Read on to learn more!
What Is Restylane Kysse?
Galderma, makers of the popular Restylane line of fillers, has recently released Restylane Kysse specifically for lip enhancement. Per FDA approval, the injectable filler is, “for injection into the lips for lip augmentation and for correction of upper perioral rhytids in patients over the age of 21.” Perioral rhytids are wrinkles in the skin found in the facial region including both lips, the upper lip area under the nose, smile/laugh lines, and the corners of the mouth. Restylane Kysse is a unique formula balancing the filler’s structure and flexibility in treating the soft, sensitive, and mobile lip region.
Restylane Kysse is nonsurgical and minimally invasive. Procedures may be performed in as little as an hour with no downtime following. In clinical trials, 86% of those treated with Restylane Kysse desired treatment with the same product again.
Softer, fuller and better-defined lips are generally noticeable immediately following the procedure. Restylane Kysse is clinically proven to last for 6-9 months, with some results lasting as long as a year following injection.
Comfort during the procedure is of paramount importance, with Restylane Kysse containing the local anesthetic lidocaine. This results in minimal discomfort with many patients reporting no discomfort at all during the procedure.
It is recommended that Restylane Kysse not be used at the site of skin sores, rashes, cysts, pimples, hives or infections. This may increase the risk of complications. Make sure to book your appointment while your skin is clear and healthy.
The most common side effects with Restylane Kysse are typically mild, including tenderness, swelling, redness, bruising, and pain at the injection site.
Only a doctor can advise you if Restylane Kysse is right for you. To book a lip filler procedure with Restylane Kysse in our Beverly Hills facial plastic and cosmetic surgery clinic, contact Dr. Mac Moretz today!
